This policy explains what information Strata Systems LLC, doing business as Ontara Systems ("Ontara," "we," "us"), collects when you visit ontara.si (ontara.io redirects there) or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain.

Who we are

Ontara works alongside operating companies and private-equity portfolios to put AI into everyday work. We operate as Strata Systems LLC, a New York limited liability company doing business as Ontara Systems. Ezra, our AI employee, has its own privacy policy, which applies when you use Ezra.

What we collect

• Information you give us. When you book an audit through our intake form or email us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, company, role, and what you tell us about your operations.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our host records standard server information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use this to keep the site running and secure.
• Information kept on your device. Academy progress and the workflow worksheet are saved in your own browser’s local storage. That information stays on your device. We only receive it if you choose to send it to us.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and schedule and deliver your audit.
• To communicate with you about our services and your engagement.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of third parties to run the site and respond to you:

• Vercel hosts the site.
• Tally runs our intake form.
• Google Fonts serves the site’s typefaces. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details.
• Google Workspace handles our email.

They process data only to provide their service to us, under their own privacy terms.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. Our service providers may set cookies that are strictly necessary to operate their features (for example, when you submit the intake form).

Data retention

We keep the information you send us for as long as needed to respond, deliver the work, and maintain our normal business records, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email hello@ontara.io and we will act on your request.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy as our practices change. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
