The work before
A produce and grocery broker running approximately 1,000 loads a month. One batch: 3,712 lanes across four solicitations. “It drives me insane,” the founder said in the audit.
What we built
Watchdog mapped the workflow on site. Ezra ingests the bid spreadsheet, queries DAT for every lane in parallel, applies the company’s fuel rules and lane overrides, and produces a review-ready bid in Excel.

The work before
A three-branch, multi-state residential HVAC operator on ServiceTitan was losing evening, weekend, and morning-rush calls to a third-party answering service.
What we built
Mia now answers every inbound call 24/7 in English and Spanish, grounded in the company’s SOPs, and books straight onto the dispatch board with the right truck and tech.

Screening time
The work before
A multifamily developer receives 40–60 broker emails a week. The GP’s morning starts with sorting the inbox and pulling underwriting basics from offering memoranda.
What we built
Ezra reads each email as it lands, extracts the underwriting basics, checks the buy box, and writes a one-page screen with a buy / pass / discuss call. The GP opens the pipeline, not the inbox.
We show our math.
Agree on the baseline in the audit. Track the same measure every month. Review adoption alongside the outcome. Keep the assumptions visible.
Start with one valuable workflow. Earn the next.
A clear starting point, a measurable baseline, and work your team can use. No portfolio-wide leap of faith.
The preparation carries forward. Later workflows build on the same organized sources and company memory.

Can we use the standard fuel surcharge on this bid?
EzraAgent
No—this customer’s agreement has its own fuel rule. Use that rule for this bid, and I’ve sent the one exception to the pricing lead for review.

The source is attached. The decision stays with your team.
Find the money nobody has time to look for.
Every week, agents read the outside world alongside your company’s own information. Costs to question. Work to bid on. Customers to reach.
Each finding comes with a source, an estimate, and a next step.

Three things worth a look this week:
A facilities bid that fits. It matches the services you already deliver.Source · public bid notice + your service listNext · confirm eligibility, draft the response
A bill that doesn’t match the agreement. A vendor invoice above its contracted rate.Source · vendor agreement + invoiceNext · verify the difference, draft the query
A new prospect near your routes. A distribution center opening on lanes you already run.Source · opening announcement + lane historyNext · check fit, draft an introduction

I’ll take the facilities bid and confirm eligibility today.
Built around your operation.
Ontara works alongside your people, starting with the tasks they already do. We build practical skills, connect company knowledge, and put useful systems into the working day.
We build on Ezra, our own AI employee, and use other tools where they fit better. The workflow comes first. The model comes second.
We agree the audit scope and timeline before starting. That gives us enough evidence to scope the first pilot properly. Data readiness and workflow complexity determine the implementation schedule; results are reviewed monthly once it’s running.
How much of my team’s time will you need?
We agree a time budget with you upfront. Expect interviews with the people doing the work, a review of the proposed workflow, and a practical training session. We handle the research, preparation, and build.
What do you need access to?
Only the sources and tools needed for the agreed workflow. We start with read-only access, carry permissions through, and agree any ability to take action separately.
What if the system doesn’t work?
We keep building until the agreed workflow is live. Then we monitor whether people use it and what gets in their way. The scope and acceptance criteria are agreed before the build.
How do you price?
A paid audit to start. Then we charge from the upside. We agree what counts as value, how to measure it, and the commercial terms before implementation.
Do we need to replace our existing tools?
We work inside the tools your team already uses wherever possible. If a change is needed, we explain why and agree it with you first.
